THE AGENTS OF THE REAL – International Symposium on Potentiality and Imagination
What do we call real today? What can become real? How can we constitute access towards the matter liberated from anthropocentric correlation?
The symposium deals with the status shift of reality which emerges
in the context of various incarnations of realism and materialism,
questioning the centrality of humans and aiming to build-up new
images and potentialities of thought. In the light of these
polemics, philosophy faces the need to revise the role of
potentializing imagination and discover the agents that not only
represent but also intervene and transform the modalities of the
real.
